The policy outlines the process by which the employee will be evaluated to ensure that the employee is meeting minimum job level requirements to maintain their current level on the career ladder, a mechanism for the employee to advance up the ladder or for management to adjust their level down if the employee does not meet the minimum requirements for their current level. The Radiology Career Ladder Chart gives an overview of each ladder requirements while the Radiology Career Ladder Evaluation Request Form is where the employee documents achievements and obtains approval to maintain same level or advance to next level.Education And ExperienceMust be a high school graduate or equivalent and enrolled in a contracted formal educational programRequired to complete two (2) hours of hospital provided continuing education hours upon hire and annually for Advanced Sterile Processing Certification. Education will focus on the handling of soiled instrumentation at the point of use and storage of instrumentation for sterile processing department pick-upLanguage SkillsRequires the ability to read and analyze information.Requires the ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from all Hospital's publics.Physical RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
