Details Medical 9 West is a 28-bed Neuro/Stroke unit serving adult patients with telemetry capability Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 Unit supported by PCTs, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00 13-week assignment length Weekend work required, up to 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage required based on department needs Requirements Active OK or Compact RN license required BLS certification required (must be AHA) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required NIHSS certification required Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Additional Information Provide direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care Carry out physician and nursing orders and assess discharge planning needs Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may reduce pay rate depending on distance from facility American Traveler Job ID P-743869.
