Purchasing Administrator
Terminal Supply is a leading national distributor and manufacturer serving the MRO and OEM industries with a focus on electrical products and wire harnesses. We are currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting our inventory management and purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Order, process, and assist in maintaining stock for inventory at all locations
- Coordinate material acquisition for special orders and internal harness production
- Match order acknowledgements with placed purchase orders to ensure accuracy
- Manage vendor relationships to optimize delivery schedules and expedite shipments
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipment issues
- Assist in maintaining of costing systems while also reconciling any discrepancies
- Provide shipment dates for all ordered items to facilitate scheduling and planning
- Work to maintain department goals and expectations set by Purchasing Management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Proficiency in processing information to make effective decisions
