Job Description

Materials Planner - Automotive Manufacturing
Responsible for planning and coordinating materials to support production while maintaining accurate inventory levels and preventing shortages.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage material schedules, inventory levels, supplier orders, and incoming shipments.
Work with suppliers, purchasing, production, logistics, and customers to resolve material or delivery issues.
Track inventory, cycle counts, supplier performance, and shipping/receiving activity.
Monitor production schedules and address shortages, delays, and past-due materials.
Assist with transportation logistics, supplier returns, and import/export paperwork.
Track and report inventory and supply chain KPIs.

Requirements:

3+ years of Materials Planning experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems, Excel, EDI, and OEM portals.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of ISO/TS16949 is a plus.
