Key Qualifications:
- Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Illinois SLP licensure or ability to obtain
- Previous experience in pediatrics, teletherapy, or school-based settings highly preferred
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP meetings
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation to travel between two nearby sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in pre-K–8th grades
- Travel between two school locations (approximately 4 minutes apart)
- Complete detailed evaluations and develop targeted, measurable goals for students
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings relating to students on your caseload
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy notes, progress reports, and relevant documentation
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student outcomes
