Full-Stack Software Engineer (Python, React)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts plus 3+ years of applied experience.
• We need hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We look for practical experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate setting using Python, React.js, and database query languages.
• We require experience with Playwright and/or Pytest testing frameworks.
• We value hands-on use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub, Copilot, and Claude Code for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation, with the ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security.
• We expect understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security expectations, along with the ability to guide peers on safe usage.
• We require solid knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• We expect a strong grasp of agile practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Preferred: experience in payment processing.
• Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Preferred: exposure to cloud technologies.
• Preferred: familiarity with large language models such as ChatGPT and Google Bard.
• Preferred: exposure to frameworks and approaches such as LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM fine-tuning.

• We execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, using creative approaches beyond routine problem-solving.
• We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with the appropriate systems.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• We apply software development life cycle toolchain knowledge, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation.
• We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software code aligns with design constraints.
• We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize data from large and varied data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
• We proactively identify hidden issues and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
