Job Purpose

 

We are looking for a goal-driven sales professional to aggressively develop and grow our compact customer base in Albuquerque. This role is ideal for a hunter-type salesperson who thrives on building relationships, winning business, and owning a territory.

 

Key Sales Responsibilities

 

1. Drive revenue growth by actively managing and expanding an assigned compact sales territory
2. Identify, pursue, and close new sales and rental opportunities
3. Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to increase market share
4. Create and deliver competitive quotes that convert prospects into long-term customers
5. Maintain a consistent call schedule and pipeline strategy to exceed sales targets
6. Utilize CRM to track opportunities, manage follow-ups, and forecast accurately
7. Collaborate with product support, service, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction
8. Support contract creation, order processing, inventory needs, and A/R follow-up
9. Travel for customer visits, ride-alongs, and manufacturer trainings as needed

 

Qualifications

 

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: 3+ years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry 

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools

Proven ability to build relationships and close business

 

Working Conditions

 

Active field-based sales role, requiring movement, climbing, and occasional lifting

Exposure to equipment, jobsite conditions, and noise—PPE required

Valid driver’s license required
