Payroll Manager

LHH has partnered with a reputable hospitality company in search for a Payroll Manager. This is a great management opportunity if you are confident being responsible for directing all payroll operations for an organization. The position reports to accounting yet works closely with HR and departmental leaders. Key Responsibilities Of This Direct Hire Payroll Manager Position Include: Supervise, support, and mentor one Payroll Specialist. Oversee the full payroll cycle from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing for 400+ employees. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll requirements, tax rules, and internal control procedures. Administer payroll changes, special payments, and reimbursements. Review and process gratuities and supplemental compensation. Generate payroll summaries, analytical reports, and reconciliation data for leadership. 5+ years of hands-on experience processing payroll for around 500 employees. Strong communication skills; Spanish is a preferred but not required. Prior leadership experience overseeing payroll staff. Strong understanding of employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels. Excellent organization, accuracy, and commitment to confidentiality.
