This position will be assigned primarily to the onsite sewage and private well program, with additional duties in rabies prevention, campgrounds and marinas. The person selected for the position must complete required training (provided by the agency) and obtain licensure from the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation as a Master Onsite Soil Evaluator within 30 months of hire. The position will be based in the Bedford County office but may require occasional travel to other offices within the district. A valid State Driver's License is required to operate a state vehicle or if operating a personal vehicle while conducting business on behalf of the agency.
