Licensed Practical Nurse

Bethesda Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and support our mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to a diverse patient population under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate clinical interventions. You will perform patient assessments appropriate to your scope of practice, obtain vital signs, monitor and document patient status and responses to treatments, and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising RN or provider. The LPN will administer medications and injections, perform wound care and basic treatments, assist with activities of daily living, and support procedures in accordance with current clinical protocols and Bethesda Health policies. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to contribute to care plans, coordinate services, and promote positive clinical outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction. The Licensed Practical Nurse will maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, support admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and provide patient and family education on medications, treatments, and health management strategies. You will champion infection prevention and control standards, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and follow regulatory and accreditation guidelines at all times.
