Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General Surgery

Location Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, 1024 Main Street, Torrington, Connecticut (ZIP 60826) Responsibilities Employ the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, evaluation) to deliver direct and indirect patient care within assigned area(s). Develop individualized education and care plans in accordance with nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures. Provide education and support to family members regarding patient conditions and care plans. Utilize judgment, knowledge, and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff. Ensure customer satisfaction, maintain patient confidentiality, and address age‑specific comfort, privacy, and general care needs. Complete annual competency requirements specific to area(s) of responsibility. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
