About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Must be trained in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing. Experience with EPIC charting system is required. Travel experience is required. Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry. Floating between units may be required based on unit needs. The role requires on-call standby shifts. Weekends will be required every other week. The nurse-to-patient ratio is expected to be 1:4. Candidates should not be first-time travelers, as prior experience is preferred. The unit provides care for adult and geriatric patients. Daily census on the unit averages around 28 patients. Preferred skills include managing telemetry, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring. Candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Job involves using rapid response and code teams when necessary. All RTO or specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
