Director, Leveraged Finance Credit Risk
JCW Group
A leading global capital markets and investment banking platform is rapidly expanding their leveraged lending capabilities and seeking a director of credit risk. Working closely with the executive team and a dotted line into the CRO, this role is crucial to the enhancement of a growing platform for the bank.
Responsibilities
- Lead credit underwriting and approval for leveraged finance and non-investment grade transactions.
- Help build credit risk framework and risk appetite for leveraged lending platform.
- Monitor the underwriting portfolio and loan book to identify and escalte risks.
- Present credit transactions at Senior Credit Committee
- Engage with regulators on leveraged lending risk matters
Required skills
- 10-15 years of leveraged finance experience
- Deep knowledge of U.S. regulatory frameworks and guidelines, specific to leveraged lending.
