Exciting Opportunities for Non-Invasive & Interventional Cardiologists - Waterbury, Connecticut

Our organization, a prominent cardiology practice in Connecticut with over three decades of service, is on the lookout for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become part of our comprehensive treatment center. The team consists of six physicians, a nurse practitioner, and a dedicated nurse call center, all focused on delivering thorough care ranging from preventive measures and non-invasive testing to advanced interventional treatments.

This position provides a chance to assume a leadership role and influence the direction of our clinical service line. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct patient care in both office and hospital settings.
• Conducting inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Serving as an educational resource for interns, residents, and students.
• Seeing patients in the office and affiliated local hospitals.
• Participating in rotational call coverage.

The role encompasses general and interventional cardiology, which includes performing cardiac catheterizations, PCI, coronary stent placements, and TAVR procedures. Candidates must possess active ABIM certification in Internal Medicine and be board certified or board eligible in Invasive Cardiology upon hiring. Additionally, board certification in ECHO and Nuclear is required (or in progress), and training in TAVR or a Structural Heart Disease Fellowship is preferred.
