Overview
Registered Nurse, Operating Room (OR) – Travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,740–$1,819 per week. Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. Shift: 8-hour days, four days per week (8x4). Setting: hospital OR environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform OR circulator duties across assigned ORs, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety throughout perioperative care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other perioperative team members to ensure patient positioning, instrumentation, and specimen handling are accurate and timely.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and communicate changes to the team; assist with anticipatory planning for equipment and supplies.
- Verify patient identity, consent, and site, and assist with patient transport and turnover between cases; maintain meticulous intraoperative documentation.
- Assist with room setup, instrument counts, and readiness of all equipment and implants; ensure proper cleaning and handling of reusable supplies.
- Holiday coverage: must work two major holidays among Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve). Rotating late coverage and float to additional ORs as needed to meet scheduling needs.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- AHA BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associates or BSN acceptable)
- Ability to work in a hospital OR environment, including periods of standing and moving for extended durations; ability to float to additional OR areas as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus
