IT Support Specialist

Salary: $41,600 - 49,920 per year Requirements:

• Previous experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, field support, or managed services
• Strong working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience resolving hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Familiarity with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and wireless networking
• Experience supporting Windows Server environments
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to balance multiple tickets and priorities during the day
• Comfortable delivering both remote and on-site support
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Preferred: previous MSP experience or support for multiple business clients
• Preferred: Microsoft Intune and endpoint management experience
• Preferred: experience with RMM and PSA platforms such as ConnectWise, NinjaOne, Autotask, or similar tools
• Preferred: Microsoft, CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications
• Preferred: experience setting up network printers and multifunction devices
• Preferred: familiarity with copier/MFP brands such as Sharp, Konica Minolta, Canon, or Lexmark

• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets for managed services clients
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, applications, peripherals, and user issues
• Diagnose connectivity and network problems involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 environments, including Outlook, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Manage users, groups, permissions, and accounts in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Assist with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, patching, and device configuration
• Support Windows Server environments and carry out routine server administration
• Install and configure workstations, laptops, printers, software, and other client equipment
• Use RMM, PSA, and remote support tools to monitor and manage client systems
• Travel to client locations when on-site support is needed
• Document ticket activity, troubleshooting steps, configurations, and resolutions accurately
• Communicate directly with customers and explain technical issues in clear, understandable terms
• Assist with copier and multifunction printer installations, including network setup, print drivers, scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, and related configuration
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of the customer experience
