This role combines hands-on clinical work with strategic leadership, mentorship, and team development, making it ideal for veterinarians passionate about both medicine and guiding a supportive, high-performing hospital culture. About the Role The Medical Director will partner with the practice manager and leadership team to: Shape the hospital's vision and standards of care Implement improvements and strategic initiatives to drive excellence Mentor and support medical staff while fostering professional growth Promote a positive, collaborative culture rooted in both clinical and client excellence Qualifications DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution (or equivalent) Active veterinary license in New York (or eligible prior to start date) Active DEA license (or eligible) Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills About the Hospital This AAHA-accredited hospital provides high-quality care in a modern, well-equipped facility.
