ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director in managing the day-to-day operations of several of the homes within our residential department within Jefferson County. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to ensure that the residential department is running efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Quality Assurance for the ISL homes (environmental, documentation, programmatic) Oversee the daily operations of the residential program and ensure that all activities are in compliance with organizational policies and procedures Manage and supervise staff members to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, and funders Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports Monthly paperwork for each consumer/ISL Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and other events as required On call rotation for crisis Judevine Center for Autism does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. Requirements Qualifications: Ability to turn feedback from clients and their families, case workers, colleagues, and data into program improvements quickly and efficiently Proven ability to work with families of individual with disabilities Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to delegate and hold supervised staff accountable for results Ability to counsel employees, recognize talent, reward good performance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Education: Bachelors degree in human services or related field preferred. 5+ years supervisory experience and experience with autism or related developmental disabilities considered Experience: 5+ years of successful work experience at a social services agency or similar organization, including management or supervisory experience.
