Truck Mechanic

Truck MechanicWe are seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our Equipment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. As a key member of our Equipment division, the Truck Mechanic will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment, and mostly trucks.Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve themPerform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtimeEnsure that all equipment-related activities are carried out in compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsManage relationships with vendors and equipment manufacturers, negotiating contracts and resolving any issues in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain equipment-related reports and metrics, and communicate equipment-related information to stakeholdersIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvements in equipment maintenance and repairOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentClass E drivers license required1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repairs with trucks (Semi experience, dealership experience, auto body shops).Non-Travel - home every night.
