Fund Finance Senior Associate

LaSalle Network is partnering with a leading real estate investment company to hire a highly analytical and driven Fund Finance Senior Associate to join its growing North American finance team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance and accounting professional looking to step into a visible, high-impact role supporting a globally recognized real estate and infrastructure investment platform.

The ideal Fund Finance Senior Associate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and bring a strong foundation in private equity, real estate, infrastructure or fund accounting. This role offers direct exposure to investment operations, fund reporting, performance analysis and strategic finance initiatives while partnering closely with executive leadership and global teams.

What’s the job?

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for private equity funds and SPVs

• Support NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and expense allocations

• Review reporting packages and general ledger submissions from third-party administrators

• Prepare investor, lender and internal reporting packages with variance analysis and commentary

• Perform IRR calculations, management fee calculations and carried interest computations

• Assist with consolidations tied to acquisitions, refinancings and dispositions

• Partner with asset management and investment teams on operational and financial reporting

• Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and debt compliance monitoring

• Assist with quarterly foreign currency translations and regulatory filings

• Drive process improvements and support implementation of reporting technologies

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and month-end close activities

What’s needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA preferred

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting or fund finance experience

• Background in private equity, real estate, infrastructure or public accounting strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP

• Experience with fund structures, SPVs and complex legal entities

• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables and lookups

• Experience with Yardi, Investran, Wdesk or similar fund accounting platforms preferred

• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a transaction-driven environment

• Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 base salary + bonus eligible (average 15%)
