The responsibilities for this position include:

· Rooming Patients

· Obtaining Vital Signs including Blood Pressure, Height/Weight

· Prepare injections for the providers

· Charting in Electronic Medical Record

· Triaging Patient Phone Calls

· Process Prescription Refills

· Procedures including wound care, removal sutures/staples, casting and bracing.

Qualifications of Medical Assistant

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong computer skills

- Punctual

- Excellent oral, written, and nonverbal communication

- Ability to prioritize work priorities

- Ability to manage frequent changes, interruptions, delays, and unexpected events, working well under pressure

- Strong people skills

- Detail oriented
