Accounts Payable Clerk

Prepare, analyze, and process all accounts payable using a computerized accounting system for the City and various related agencies. Also, prepare various financial reports for internal and external users. Requires a high school diploma/GED, three (3) years' experience in the accounting field, two (2) years' experience using spreadsheets, and demonstrable knowledge of accounts payable systems. Associate's degree in Accounting and experience in public accounting preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which evidences a comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting principles may be considered.
