Demonstrates exercise science knowledge, creates safe and effective studio environments, and manages the entire class experience from setup through closure. Screens participants for health conditions and injuries, provides appropriate form corrections and exercise modifications, uses evidence-based cueing across different learning styles, builds member relationships, and consistently creates a welcoming atmosphere.Minimum Qualifications:Enthusiastic about group fitness classes and delivering new, fresh, and innovative routines.Confident in professionalism by reporting on-time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others.A professional who is collaborative, flexible, and a leader in and out of the studio.Education: Essential: * HS Graduate or Equivalent GEDCredentials: Essential: * CPR/BLS within 90 days*Certified and/or licensed to teach the specific formats needed (AFAA, ACE, ASCM, NETA, etc.). Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Les Mills) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats.Experience:Essential: *Minimum of one year teaching experience actively leading successful group fitness classes.Facility: BayCare Health System, Bloomingdale Wellness CenterLocation: Valrico, FLStatus: PRN, Exempt: NoShift Hours: VariesWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: NoEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
