Restaurant General Manager

General ManagerEssential duties include maintaining overall management responsibilities for the restaurant, providing exceptional customer service skills, training and motivating crew members, ensuring product quality standards, maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and equipment, training managers to ensure knowledge of all duties required to run the restaurant, being proficient in all crew positions and ensuring customer satisfaction, managing the daily operations of the restaurant including the selection, development and performance management of employees, overseeing the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimizing profits and ensuring that guests are satisfied with their dining experience. The General Manager reports to the District Manager.Requirements include strong financial skills with experience working with P&L reports, bank deposits and other financial documents, being the company's spokesperson in the local trading area and having an interest in networking and being active outside of the restaurant, working a minimum of 45 hours per week with a varying weekly schedule based on store's demands, and requiring weekend, holiday and occasional night work. Must be able to provide information on years of relevant experience, years of restaurant management experience, and the highest level of education completed.Job type is full-time with benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, paid training, and vision insurance. Shifts include a 10 hour shift, day shift, evening shift, arriving on time, being great with guests, foreseeing problems before they occur, being a leader and role model for employees, having previous managerial experience, previous fast food/quick service restaurant experience, top-notch customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent leadership skills, and must submit to a background check.
