Float: Med/surg Service line Every other weekend BLS required 50% of holidays on contract 1 year exp required! Will take 1st time travelers! The adult overflow unit is a 1 O bed unit that services all UH admitting physician teams. Examples: Neurology, internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Oncology. Diagnoses range from diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal disease, orthopedic fractures, and neurological deficits. This unit will occupy adults, 16 and older, medical surgical patients to assist with hospital throughput. General floor care procedures and skills such as IV therapy, labs, nasogastric tubes, wound care assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation. Charge duties on the floor may be required.
