The operating room program is structured to support coordinated anesthesia care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. Additional anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

The area has expanded its offerings with additional destinations including the Jungle Reef Aquarium, the Surf Shack indoor wave pool, a new Air Force Academy Visitor Center, and local markets alongside outdoor activities suited to a variety of interests.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at operating room facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado, working Monday through Friday with 8-hour, 10-hour, and some 12-hour shifts. The surgical case mix includes a variety of acuity levels and case types, encompassing trauma, orthopedic, spine, neurological, cardiac, thoracic, and obstetric procedures. Call coverage is negotiable as part of this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required for all clinicians in this role.
