Sr. Technical Project Manager AI-Driven Manufacturing | Rockford, IL | Contract
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and documented transfer processes.
- Lead manufacturing process design reviews and risk assessments to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain and report on the Manufacturability Index and Operations status.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
- Document and implement product infrastructure, SKUs, and process improvements.
- Facilitate proactive cross-functional collaboration to drive project goals and milestones.
- Champion continuous improvement and risk mitigation throughout the NPI lifecycle. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or operations project management.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, V-Lookups) and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with ERP systems such as PRMS or E1.
- Strong written and verbal communication, relationship building, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive accountability across teams. Preferred Skills - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Familiarity with Design Excellence methodologies: Six Sigma, DFSS, DOE.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (JMP, Minitab).
