Cash Application & Billing Specialist
PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application & Billing Specialist to join a fast-paced accounting team in Lake Worth. In this role, you will handle daily cash posting, invoicing, and account reconciliations while collaborating closely with Credit and Accounts Receivable teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply customer payments (checks, lockbox, COD, wire) to correct accounts and invoices; resolve short payments, overpayments, and unapplied cash.
- Process daily billing, generate invoices, and handle credit memos/RMAs.
- Partner with internal teams and the Credit department to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account adjustments.
- Maintain organized records (filing, scanning, indexing) and assist with audit and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (some formal accounting training is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and follow specific procedures.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $28.00
