Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students’ movement and functional skills in a school-based environment. Enjoy a long-term assignment spanning 11 months, working collaboratively to make a difference in students’ academic journeys.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and goal setting
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students with a range of abilities
- Assess, plan, and implement treatment strategies in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain clear, timely, and thorough documentation as required by school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student planning
- Support staff by offering training about mobility, safe lifting, and adaptive equipment
