Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred. New York State Teaching certification (B‑2, N‑6, 1‑6, Special Education) or an eligible study plan preferred. At least two years of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred. Candidates must pass required state and company background checks. Physical Requirements This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local immunization, physical screening, and health and safety training requirements. The role involves: Frequently lifting, carrying, or holding children weighing 10–40 pounds; occasionally more than 40 pounds. Demonstrating a full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise participate in activities. Responding immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies. Maintaining mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements. Compensation Hourly rate: $23.00–$28.10. Actual compensation depends on experience, education, certifications, geography, and other factors.
