Pay: $20-$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Lead Preschool Teacher - Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience - Bushwick is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide our 3-year-old classroom. This role is responsible for creating a structured, engaging learning environment where children develop confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness through purposeful play and meaningful classroom experiences.
As the Lead Teacher, you will mentor assistant teachers, build strong relationships with families, and implement our proprietary L.Curriculum to help every child reach their full potential.
Lead daily classroom routines for a 3-year-old preschool classroom
Foster children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
Guide and mentor assistant teachers while promoting teamwork
Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and classroom activities
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required
Previous preschool classroom teaching experience preferred
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Must meet New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
Competitive hourly pay of $20-$23 based on experience
