Experienced Lead Pre K teacher with bachelor's in ECE needed

At Little Me Daycare we have a mission to enrich the quality of early childhood education and childcare in our community. Job qualifications for our brand new center Have a love for children; be reliable and friendly. Excellent communication skills. NYS Certification or study plan preferred. Job responsibilities Demonstrate a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.). Encourage children to interact and resolve occasional conflict. Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, etc.). Organize nap and lunch/snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe. Track children’s progress. Communicate with parents regularly. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development and state certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and five years' experience in a licensed early childhood center. Proof of current and active enrollment in an accredited Associate’s or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Ability to lift objects of up to 30 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
