Maintenance Electrician

Position Title: Mechanic/Electrician 3rd shift Pay Rate: $46.54/Hr + $0.26 Shift Differential Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (3 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Monday-Friday) Physical Location: Des Plaines Container 100 E. Oakton St. Des Plaines, IL View phone number on click.appcast.io The Job You Will Perform: Industrial maintenance/mechanic electrician will perform routine preventive maintenance and repair of machines. Troubleshoot emergency maintenance on machines as necessary to support plant operations. Troubleshoot industrial, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures Reads, manages and performs work orders of required maintenance services. The Skills You Will Bring: 3+ years in industrial manufacturing PLC troubleshooting, inputs/outputs, and changeouts of programs Experience with Factory Talk or similar HMI software Photo eyes, sensors, limit switches, and solenoids Repairing and troubleshooting conveyor systems (line controls) Mechanical Systems (bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes) Hydraulics & Pneumatics High and Low Voltage Ability to operate a multimeter to diagnose a variety of electrical issues Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
