Fabric Development Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Inquire on fabric detail sheets and secure sample yardage for seasonal development
• Complete development sheets/send outgoing developments based on Manager's allocation
• Communicate with the mills to ensure developments and requests are clear and on time.
• Partner with design and PD on monthly & seasonal fabric developments and allocation
• Coordinate with PD to pull seasonal fabric roll and update price/lead time in the chart
• Set up and maintain Tradestone (URBN PLM System) fabric folders
• Clo set ups and measurements
• Maintain daily communication with cross functional partners, fabric mills, and garment agents as needed
• Work with design team on daily inquiries
• Assist in setting up seasonal presentations.

Job Skills

• Experience in textiles
• Knowledge of global textile market
• Highly organized and efficient
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and team-based environment
• Excellent communication skills

Education

• Degree in textile related field
• 2+ years in fabric merchandising or fabric sourcing with a large US/EU company preferred
• Basic knowledge in yarn, fabric, knitting, weaving dyeing and finishing
