Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Location: Augusta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and report significant changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform blood glucose checks as ordered.
• Document patient assessments and care activities accurately and timely using Meditech.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient needs.
• Float to areas of competency as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS certification required.
• Advanced IV skills and familiarity with cardiac and insulin drips.
