Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) PM Shift Full-time Name of Location/Facility: Crestwood Terrace Status of Employment: Full Time Shift Type: PM Shift (3pm-11:30pm) Represented position?: This is a Represented Position. Union membership requirements will be applied as per the current Union Contract with this center. Department: Behavioral Health Compensation: up to USD 24.00 - hourly Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) Start Date : ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon Salary : Up to $24/hr depending on experience+benefits Shift : Full-time PM shift Schedule : PM's 3pm-11pm with a Saturday or Sunday shift each week What you will do in this role The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) provides group and individual therapy. This includes psychiatric rehab and case management services to adults with a history of psychiatric (Behavioral Health) hospitalizations. You will help them with long-term care and/or stabilization. You will be a part of our interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing therapeutic services and interventions to best serve their needs. Our patients are interactive, motivated and eager to go on this journey with you. Life Skills Training Program available, providing additional skill building beyond symptom management. NOTE: Our most successful PRSCs have prior experience in this setting. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) is officially a PRSC, although other centers may call it a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Coordinator, Psychiatric Rehab Coordinator, Psychiatric Rehab Counselor, or Mental or Behavioral Health Counselor. What we need from you Prior experience as a PRSC or mental health professional in a licensed nursing home, intermediate care facility, or specialized mental health rehab facility (SMHRF) is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field (including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology) and a minimum of 1 year of supervised experience in mental health or human services setting.
