The incumbent will design and implement qualitative and mixed-methods research and evaluation projects that support HIV surveillance, epidemiology, and syndemic initiatives. This work will examine the complex social, behavioral, structural, and health system factors that influence HIV and related health conditions, generating evidence to inform public health practice, program planning, and collaborative responses across intersecting public health priorities. **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of research experience in the collection and analysis of data; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.**Preferred Qualifications*** Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Work, Implementation Science, Evaluation, or a closely related field.* Experience supporting or conducting qualitative or mixed-methods studies and evaluation activities.* Experience with qualitative surveys, focus groups, key informant interviews, or diverse stakeholder groups.* Proficiency with qualitative data analysis software such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA, Dedoose, or similar platforms.* Knowledge of HIV, sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis C, substance use and social determinants of health.* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex findings through reports, presentations, data visualizations, manuscripts, or policy briefs.* Experience authoring or co-authoring peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, or technical reports.**Conditions of Employment**Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
