OnSite Team Lead - Chicago, IL

Field-based team lead position overseeing daily operations of onsite surgical support staff at a hospital. Directs workflow, manages team performance and compliance, provides clinical expertise, and partners with stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work assignments and monitor team adherence to quality and productivity standards
• Develop onboarding materials and customize training for new team members and credentialing
• Provide clinical expertise and in-service training to surgical and sterile processing staff
• Track fee-per-case submissions, maintain equipment, and report monthly data metrics
• Escalate performance issues and safety concerns to regional supervisor; conduct team huddles

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year operating room and/or sterile processing experience
• CRCST certification required for sterile processing roles; yearly renewal mandatory
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly in high-stress surgical environments
• Own smartphone required; eligible for monthly cell phone stipend
• Capacity to work flexible shifts including on-call, overnight, and weekends; travel may be required
