Core Responsibilities Recording Transactions: Enter daily sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into accounting systems. Reconciling Accounts: Match bank statements with internal ledgers to find and fix errors. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Send customer invoices, track unpaid bills, and process payments to vendors. Payroll Processing: Calculate employee wages, withhold taxes, and issue timely paychecks. Financial Reporting: Generate balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss summaries. Required Skills and Qualifications Software Proficiency: Experience using tools like QuickBooks or Xero and spreadsheets. Math and Detail: Strong attention to detail for managing debits, credits, and data entry. Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting methods like double-entry bookkeeping and cash flow tracking.
