Lead Teacher – One-Year-Old Room (Full-Time)
Mother Goose ELC
Mother Goose ELC is seeking a patient, compassionate teacher with experience working with children ages 1–2. The Lead Teacher will create developmentally appropriate activities that support children's physical, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment.
- Complete daily cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
- Communicate regularly with families about children's progress and daily activities.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- Associate degree (AAS) or higher in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (ECE/CD) + 1 year of experience.
- Completed required ECE coursework toward an AAS degree + 1 year of experience.
- 60 college credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree, including 12 ECE/CD credits + 2 years of experience.
- AAS or higher in another field with 12 ECE/CD credits + 2 years of experience.
- 10 years of early childhood experience, annual 2.5 CEUs related to child care, and successful competency evaluation.
Preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in a play-based learning environment.
