Position Type: Support Staff / Non-Paraprofessional / Lunch Aide Date Posted: 5/4/2026 Location: Roxboro Elementary School Date Available: August 2026 Description Under the general supervision of the building principal, supervise elementary age children during lunch period. The lunchroom supervisor directs the work of lunchroom non‑paraprofessionals. Job Summary 4.0 hours/day (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.), 5 days/week, 195 days/year. Essential Functions Participates in lunchroom non‑paraprofessional selection/orientation. Trains/coaches assigned staff in procedures to accomplish duties effectively. Keeps administrators aware of emerging issues. Provides staff leadership. Engenders staff enthusiasm/teamwork. Helps resolve problems. Expresses high expectations and provides support to improve staff performance. Helps lunchroom non‑paraprofessionals as needed meet established schedules/program objectives. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read and write. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Good interpersonal skills. Physical ability to perform all of the essential functions of the job.
