Job Title: Registered Nurse - Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekdays Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1.5 years License: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required Certifications: - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire date - BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date Must-Have: 1+ year OR RN experience; Pediatric RN experience is a plus Description: Deliver Operating Room Registered Nurse care by providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Coordinate patient care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support efficient surgical workflows, clear communication, and high-quality clinical outcomes. Perform circulating nurse responsibilities by monitoring patient status, documenting care in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. Provide scrub nurse support by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons to promote procedural efficiency and patient safety.
