Insurance Defense / General Liability Attorney A well-established litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense / General Liability Attorney to join its growing Chicago practice. This opportunity offers strong compensation, a competitive bonus structure, and flexibility to work remotely , although a hybrid schedule is preferred. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of general liability and insurance defense matters Handle cases involving premises liability, auto and transportation claims, construction disputes, property damage, and other casualty matters Draft pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and legal memoranda Take and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences Work with clients, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel Independently manage matters from inception through resolution Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as appropriate Qualifications Experience handling insurance defense, general liability, or civil litigation Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and case-management skills Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with a litigation team Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances is preferred Additional bar admissions, including Wisconsin or Missouri , are a plus Highlights Strong base compensation Competitive performance and productivity bonuses Remote flexibility , with a hybrid schedule preferred Sophisticated and varied defense litigation matters Established support staff and firm resources Meaningful opportunities for professional growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr LumenCeler Group
