Local Government Law Attorney

Our firm handles a broad range of complex matters in a variety of areas, including nonprofit and local government law, complex tort and healthcare defense, commercial litigation and transactional matters, and real estate development. Ideal candidates will have 3 to 7 years of experience in local government, corporate, or transactional law, with demonstrated experience in representing nonprofit, religious, and/or other tax-exempt organizations. The ideal candidate will also be able to work directly with local government clients to assist in their general governance matters and will be expected to attend board meetings. 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in corporate or transactional law.
- Experience with nonprofit, religious, and/or other tax-exempt clients preferred.
- History of academic success.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Direct responsibility for advising clients on corporate governance matters, preparing bylaws and policies, and drafting and negotiating contracts and other transactions.
- Conduct legal research competently and with proficiency.
- Review client documents and draft case evaluations and status reports.
