Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Build-A-Bear Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 25 Summary At Build-A-Bear Workshop, the Bear Builder works with the Workshop Manager, Assistant Workshop Manager, and Associate Workshop Manager to drive the success of our workshops. They ensure WOW guest experiences, WOW associate experiences, and meet sales and profitability goals set forth by the company. The Bear Builder must deliver superior guest service, be fun-loving and high energy, and be able to be a Party Bear Leader, leading a party group through the bear-making process. They will work directly for the management team to promote operational excellence. This is a part‑time job requiring a flexible schedule. The Bear Builder must be able to multi‑task, pay attention to detail, be reliable, and work well as part of a team. Responsibilities Drive the success of workshops by working closely with management. Ensure outstanding guest and associate experiences. Meet sales and profitability goals. Lead party groups as a Party Bear Leader. Promote operational excellence within the workshop. Education & Experience One or more years of proven success in a customer‑centric business, preferably in specialty retail or restaurant business. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience working with children of various ages. Ambitious, success‑oriented, with exceptional leadership and selling skills. Models personal and professional integrity. Excellent interpersonal communications skills, both verbal and written. Organized, planful, and detail‑oriented. Flexible and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Fosters high‑energy environment and demonstrates appreciation for children of all ages.
