Credentialing Specialist

About this role


Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Credentialing Specialist. This position will provide expert direction to other employees in a leadwork capacity. The position is responsible for providing specialized oversight, direction, expert consultation, and training to individual applicants and facility providers so that their licensing activities are conducted in compliance with Minnesota Statutes, and other applicable laws and rules so that the health, safety, and rights of vulnerable Minnesotans served in facilities are protected. This position works independently in performing difficult and complex credentialing activities that require considerable knowledge and application of federal, state and/or departmental regulations and policies without review of actions taken.


The Health Regulation Division Credentialer exists to execute the Commissioner of Health's responsibility for administration and oversight of licensing, certification, registration and rostering functions related to nursing homes, home care, assisted living facilities, boarding care homes, supervised living facilities, hospitals/critical access hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, home health agencies, birth centers, Intermediate Care Facility with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, hospice, dialysis providers, laboratories, mortuary establishments, hearing instrument dispensers, speech-language pathologist, audiologist, morticians, body art technicians, body art establishments, nursing assistants and all other providers.


Pay Rate : $35.06/hr


Location : Fully remote, fulltime | 3 MONTH CONTRACT PROJECT
