Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current North Carolina (NCP) license as a School Psychologist
- Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Education
- Direct experience with psychoeducational evaluations and triennial reviews
- Proven ability to work with middle and high school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage, prioritize, and complete tasks both onsite and remotely when appropriate
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and triennial re-evaluations for students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies and support plans
- Provide direct and consultative services to meet students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Prepare detailed, timely reports; some report writing tasks may be completed remotely based on testing and meeting schedules
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer expertise in interpreting assessment results
- Promote positive student outcomes and help foster an inclusive, supportive school culture
