Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current North Carolina (NCP) license as a School Psychologist
• Valid School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Education
• Direct experience with psychoeducational evaluations and triennial reviews
• Proven ability to work with middle and high school students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and complete tasks both onsite and remotely when appropriate
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and triennial re-evaluations for students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies and support plans
• Provide direct and consultative services to meet students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Prepare detailed, timely reports; some report writing tasks may be completed remotely based on testing and meeting schedules
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer expertise in interpreting assessment results
• Promote positive student outcomes and help foster an inclusive, supportive school culture
