Job Description

Structural Fitter $1,595+ WEEKLY

Key Requirements:
  • Must have Shipyard Structural Fitter/Shipfitter experience.
  • Must be able to pass a Written Shipfitter Test.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, naval blueprints, and work packages.
  • Must have own basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Experience with ship repair, new construction, and steel fabrication preferred.
  • Fabricate, align, and install bulkheads, frames, decks, foundations, and other ship structural components.
  • Measure, mark, and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up and alignment of steel components.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following shipyard safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday 6am-4pm

Duration:
  • Temp-Hire
