Position Summary

Fidem Financial is seeking a Senior Analyst, Credit Card Analytics & Portfolio Strategy to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, particularly within credit card or consumer lending, who are looking to deepen their expertise in portfolio performance, analytics, and strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will partner closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, risk, and business development to drive data-informed decisions, analyze portfolio trends, and identify opportunities to optimize performance and support the growth of our consumer credit business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze credit card performance metrics, including acquisition, usage, delinquency, and profitability trends.
• Develop actionable insights to optimize pricing, product features, and customer engagement.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, forecasts, and profitability assessments.
• Prepare and automate regular dashboards and management reports highlighting key performance indicators.
• Monitor market trends, credit card industry developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Work closely with teams in finance, marketing, risk, and operations to assess business opportunities and streamline processes.
• Contribute to investment case development, including opportunity sizing, cost-benefit analysis, and DCF,ROI and DDM modeling.
• Identify inefficiencies in current reporting and analytical processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in banking, credit cards, or consumer lending.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). SQL or Python experience a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Understanding of credit card P&L drivers, interchange, rewards, charge-off dynamics, and regulatory environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in consumer lending and/or credit card portfolios, preferably within large financial institutions or major banks, is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions and thrive in a fast-paced, often changing and dynamic environment.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $130,000 to $165,000 p/year

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
