Qualified Staffing (Marietta) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector for a reputable manufacturing company in Marietta, GA . The ideal candidate will ensure products meet quality standards by performing inspections, testing, and documentation throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow documented management system procedures and quality standards.
- Inspect and test products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with inspection instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
- Compile, evaluate, and record statistical data to support product quality, reliability, and conformance standards.
- Verify first-piece production against blueprints and specifications.
- Perform dimensional, performance, visual, and mechanical testing of products.
- Record test data on variable data recording forms and quality tracking systems.
- Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing of materials or products as required.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and management regarding product quality concerns and improvements.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques when required.
- Train operators and inspectors on measurement procedures, blueprint interpretation, and quality standards.
- Support onboarding and cross-training of new and existing employees.
- Perform additional quality-related tasks as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or related manufacturing role
- Machine operation experience preferred
- Experience in metal manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Schedule & Compensation
- Temp-to-hire, Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with potential overtime
- Pay rate: $17–$20 per hour based on experience
